The Bloomfield patient pathway
Enquiry
Call us on 028 9127 5737 or email office@bloomfieldlaser.co.uk and tell us briefly about your concern, so we can guide you to the right clinic.
Booking & triage
Our reception team arranges your appointment with the most appropriate doctor or nurse. Some pathways (such as See & Treat) begin with a short telephone triage.
Consultation
At your consultation your clinician listens to your concerns, examines you, and explains your options clearly — including any risks and costs.
Diagnosis & plan
You receive a clear diagnosis and an agreed, personalised treatment plan. No treatment goes ahead unless it is clinically suitable and right for you.
Treatment
Your treatment is carried out by an experienced, qualified clinician. Where appropriate, treatments can be combined to reduce the number of visits.
Follow-up & aftercare
We review your progress, provide aftercare advice and arrange any further sessions, results discussions or onward referral as needed.
This is an example pathway for illustration. Individual results may vary depending on treatment and symptom pathway, and your plan will always be agreed with your clinician.

Self-funding and insured patients
Self-funding patients can book directly and pay on the day of attendance. If you are using private medical insurance, most insurers require a GP referral and a pre-authorisation number before your appointment; cosmetic treatments are usually not covered.
Full details, including how authorisation numbers work, are on our contact page.
