Brow Lift
A direct brow lift to manage brow droop (ptosis), often combined with upper blepharoplasty for the best result.
Book a ConsultationBrow ptosis (droop) can be managed in a variety of ways. A direct brow lift is performed under local anaesthetic and involves removal of a strip of skin immediately above the brow, leaving a linear scar that blends with the eyebrow over time. It can be performed as a standalone procedure, and is often used in conjunction with upper blepharoplasty to achieve the best result. Your Consultant Plastic Surgeon will discuss what is right for you at your consultation.

- Performed under local anaesthetic as a day case
- A fine incision at the upper border of the brow lifts the brow position
- Some bruising and swelling of the forehead and brow area is normal
- Healing typically takes around two weeks with good aftercare
- Often combined with upper blepharoplasty for a balanced result
