Consultant plastic surgery
All consultations are carried out by NHS-trained Consultant Plastic Surgeons on the GMC Specialist Register for plastic surgery.
Mr Jeremy Bond and Ms Ciara Bowers provide a comprehensive range of skin lesion, skin cancer and scarring treatments. In addition, Ms Ciara Bowers provides specialist aesthetic treatments. Mr Bond also provides medicolegal work and rhinophyma treatment.

Skin Cancer Management
Our Plastic Surgeons provide comprehensive skin cancer management, including oncological surgery and reconstruction — which can include skin grafting or flap reconstruction of defects. All skin cancers are appropriately managed within the Regional Skin Multi-Disciplinary Team. Your diagnosis and recommended management plan will be discussed with you at your initial consultation.

We're aware that multiple clinic and hospital appointments can be difficult to manage. For simple skin lesions, our See & Treat service offers — following a telephone triage appointment — a face-to-face consultation and excision on the same day, for your convenience.

Our Consultant Plastic Surgeons lead our team of specialists in scar treatments. Options include surgical revision, combined surgical and laser treatments, steroid treatments and neuromodulator (Botox) assisted healing. We provide scar management advice at every consultation and can arrange onward referral for pressure garments and camouflage therapy when required.

Also known as an 'eyelid lift', this procedure removes overcrowding of the upper eyelid and can improve vision and function as well as achieving a more 'awake and refreshed' look. Performed under local anaesthetic following consultation with our Consultant Plastic Surgeon specialising in aesthetics.

Excess skin of the lower lid can be managed with surgery, CO₂ laser, or a combination of both. Where skin excess is the primary concern, a lower lid procedure can improve the eye area. With fullness of the eyelid area — often referred to as an 'eyebag' — a general anaesthetic procedure may be required. This will be assessed and discussed in detail at your consultation.

Brow ptosis (droop) can be managed in a variety of ways. A direct brow lift, performed under local anaesthetic, involves removal of a strip of skin immediately above the brow, leaving a linear scar that blends with the eyebrow over time. It can be a standalone procedure or combined with upper blepharoplasty for the best result.

The upper lip lengthens with age; a lip lift shortens this length, restoring a more youthful look and giving the appearance of a more voluminous lip through rebalancing. It can be combined with CO₂ laser resurfacing to address fine lines of the upper lip for an overall rejuvenated look. Suitability is discussed in detail at consultation.

The labia minora change throughout life. Hypertrophy or asymmetry can cause aesthetic and functional concerns. Trimming of the labia can be performed under local anaesthetic to help improve these symptoms. Our Consultant Plastic Surgeon performs this with an all-female team and will discuss your concerns during your consultation.
